The kit is good for lower budget theater productions and can simulate cop car lights or TV light flicker, but the lights are not suited for soft lighting images. The stands are not stable and feel cheap, with plastic barn doors. The app has issues and is trying to take users' personal information. The kit does not come with diffusers, and the pictures do not accurately depict the color change capabilities. Despite these issues, the GVM 680RS offers a decent amount of light and is a great starter kit for lower-priced lighting.
