The BARSKA X-Trail 30x80 Binocular w/ Braced-in Tripod Adapter is a good binocular for daytime viewing and stargazing. The binoculars come with everything needed to view the cosmos and birds. They are lightweight despite their size and have amazing magnification. Only one diopter ring is needed when the binoculars have a center focusing wheel but it takes time to adjust correctly. However, it is not recommended for terrestrial moving subjects since there is a requirement to adjust focusing while tracking moving objects. The binoculars are made in Belgium and in China, some have the tripod adapter while others don't. The binoculars are waterproof and are suitable for viewing Red Tail Hawks, but not as sharp optically and are more sensitive to shake. The right eyepiece has a rolling wheel and a useless adjustment that causes it to fall off. The binoculars have lower build quality and the tripod mount seems to be more susceptible to wiggle and mis-collimation. They are not suitable for night stargazing, and it is better to get the 20x80s instead.
