Answer: Yes, they can be washed by hand or machine and will retain their structure. -

What are the measurements?
Answer: This is actually a four sided insulated cloth bowl with 7 1/2 inch sides. It is formed in a conical shape and handles a 5-7 inch top diameter bowl very nicely. If you flatten it out the diagonal measurement from corner to corner is about 10 inches. Works great for bowls used to heat soups, chili, stew, etc. No more burning your hands on hot bowls or trying to grab a hot bowl with hot pads. -

Answer: These are made in India. -

Can they be used for plates also?
Answer: No, they are sewn with tucks to cradle a bowl. You might try using a dish drying mat/pad for large plates... essentially the same material. -

Answer: There was five in my order. They must have not counted right. I will get hold of the company on that! -

Can you microwave a potato in them?
Answer: I have not tried this specifically, but since you can reheat bowls of food with them in the microwave, I don't see any difference with a potato except the amount of time. I would definitely watch it the first time I tried though. -

Can I buy 4 pink & 4 blue in a set of bowls? I would like the same in plates. Thank you.
Answer: I am not sure if you can buy them in separate colors. The colors I did get them in are all different bright colors. They are good quality and perfect in doing the job they were made to do. They are beautiful bright colors and soft material. I have used them almost every day for three months and they are good quality. There were no plates that came with this set. -

Answer: No, they do not snag easily. Very user-friendly to use. -
Question:
Will these fit large Ramen bowls?
Answer: I love mine. I have used them on large dinner plates, soup bowls. They fold down to fit most. -
Question:
Can the bowl huggers be washed in hot water without shrinking?
Answer: I wash these in hot water with my dish towels. They seem to be the same size as before. Very happy with their durability.
