The bottom of the can is a friction fit with a thin gasket, making it airtight after opening it a couple of times. However, the top of the can is the original piece, and if pressed, it lets air in/out. Therefore, it comes with a smell-proof bag to avoid any unwanted smells. Although it looks convincingly real, the can is not waterproof and will not keep contents cold for an extended period.
