Answer: 595 each skein of yarn. You'll need for a king blanket at least 8 to 10 skeins of yarn depending on what type of stitch you use. I did the chevron stitch. -

Answer: Yes, I find that Caron yarns work up great when creating blankets. Stitches work up smoothly on the hook. I enjoy using them. -

Answer: The Caron yarn color cream is the closest to a pale yellow, other brands may offer more of a yellow tone however. In order to achieve a cream color it's a mixture of white and brown. In order to achieve the pale yellow it's a mixture of yellow and white.
