Answer: These shoes have a good balance between flexibility and support. Lengthwise, they have a very firm footbed along their sides. I hike exclusively on grass which by its nature in uneven. The soles work hard to keep my feet stable under these conditions. Their cross section flexibity is such that they easily bend in half.
