The 5.11 Stryke Tactical Pants are made of 100% cotton canvas with high-quality stitching and a premium finish, making them feel comfortable and durable. The fabric is thick, tough, and suitable for use in hot weather. These pants have an elastic waistband that prevents them from slipping down, but there are no anti-slip features on the inside of the waistband to keep your shirt tucked in. Though it does boast of a pistol magazine pocket on the left side above the cargo pocket that should suffice depending on the phone model. These pants come unhemmed with the option of choosing what length you want. It is crucial to Consider that these pants might not fit as expected, so it might be wise to order one size lower in inseam or go down a size altogether if you're unsure. The person who left the negative review mentioned that the fabric is too thick and uncomfortable. They also found that the fitting is poor, and the pants hug the knees when climbing or kneeling, which is not expected from tactical pants. Additionally, the cargo pockets sit low near the knees and are not very capacious compared to other brands like Tru spec. The front button may occasionally pop open when one bends forward too much, which could be an issue. The left side clip/utility pocket is too small for TVs typical iPhone/smartphone. Finally, the fabric appears to shrink, lose color and become dingy after washing. It is also, unfortunately, more expensive than other brands, which can be a turn-off for some buyers.
