One customer used a piece of threaded rod, insulator, washer and fuel line to widen the pull-out spring-loaded edge, as well as ran a 1/4-20 tap through the mounting flat bracket and the unit's plastic base to fix poorly made threads. In turn, the teleprompter became a "professional grade" product.
