This drywall sander comes with various grits of sanding disks and has a slight swivel. The holes in the backing pad are there for the vacuum cleaner to function properly. The unit is bulky and heavy but does the job. The suction is not great, so a good shop vac is necessary. The on/off and variable speed controls work well, although some customers found the on/off switch a little stiff. Some customers had issues with the sander breaking down quickly, and others had to change out the brushes every job. However, the brushed motor comes with replacement brushes. Overall, this drywall sander will get the job done, but a good shop vac is necessary.
