Does anyone know how to relax the stiffness of this hat? I prefer a loose (floppy) hat, so how do you take the stiffness out?
Answer: If loose and floppy is what you want this is not the hat. If you already bought this hat then you can use water to loosen it up. -
Question:
Does this hat represent WWI?
Answer: A campaign hat was used in WI but not this type. The one used back then was “Higher/Taller” and it really didn’t look to cool. In other words more wierd than cool. The ones used from say wwii through vietnam and today ate the lower much, much better hats. (Army Drill Sgts didnt come about until after the vietnam war I believe. -

Why does this hat have holes in it?
Answer: To attach a pin/badge to it. -

I have a friend shipping off to Basic. Is this hat a good choice as a going away present for him to wear?
Answer: If he's going to basic and shows up with a hat like that, he'd end up having the time of his life doing some pushups.
