While the case is waterproof, the touch screen may not work underwater unless there is an air gap between the phone screen and the clear plastic. The lanyard is over 18 inches long and can hang from one shoulder but may not fit across the chest. The pouch can float if sealed properly, and excess air is trapped inside the pouch. Reviews are mixed; some customers have reported that the seams ripped open, while others found the case very durable and effective in protecting their phone.
