Anime Editorial Review

**** The "Blue Submarine No. 6 Complete Collection" has garnered positive attention from anime enthusiasts for its unique narrative and engaging themes. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where human arrogance leads to environmental devastation, the series tells the story of a scientist-turned-villain, Zorndyke, who unleashes an army of fish chimera creatures to challenge humanity’s dominion over the planet. Not only does this narrative deliver intense action, it also provides a thought-provoking commentary on ecological issues, focusing on the oceanic environment rather than the typical forest-centric stories. Fans appreciate the deep character exploration, particularly the dynamic between the protagonist Kino and the antagonist Mutio, as well as the emotional conclusions that the story delivers. Reviewers highlight the powerful animation, although some find the early 3D effects to be somewhat dated compared to modern standards. Nonetheless, these graphics play a minor role in the overall experience, which is amplified by a captivating jazz soundtrack. Many customers celebrate the collection for providing the uncut versions of the series, enhancing their viewing experience compared to the censored episodes aired on Toonami. The audio and video quality is noted as mostly excellent, though some viewers express the desire for a complete remaster to fully appreciate the stunning visuals and landscapes depicted in the series. Overall, "Blue Submarine No. 6" remains a classic that stands the test of time, appealing to both long-time fans and newcomers alike. Its rich storytelling and environmental themes make it a worthwhile addition to any anime collection. **
