Question:
What are the measurements for the butterfly?
Answer: The package doesn't say what the measurements are. But by looking at the picture on the package you could estimate the size at approximately 4.5 ft x 4.5 ft. -

How big is the flower across?
Answer: The kpattern doesn't state the finished size for the flower, but it uses 5 5/8 yd fabric plus 2 1/2 yd batting. That is quite a bit less than the butterfly. My finished product was adorable. It nearly covered the top of a queen bed. -
Question:
About how long did it take to complete the butterfly?
Answer: If you have a good working knowledge, you can probably complete it in a day (8-10 hours) or if you're new to crafts like this, I'd say at least 2 days days to complete it (15-20 hours). -
Question:
What is the size of the owl when finished?
Answer: The pattern gives fabrics sizes but not completed sizes. If you look at the photo, that will give you an idea of general size. Even on the Simplicity site it does not say the actual size of the quilts. Sorry. About all I can tell you is that they are large. -

Do you buy the materials separate or are they included?
Answer: It is the pattern only, you have to buy the materials separately. -

Answer: I am sorry, but this pattern seems to be out of print. -
Question:
Are the directions easy to follow?
Answer: I had a very hard time trying to follow the directions and to match each pattern piece with where it fit in the completed project. It was very frustrating. Perhaps one of the other projects with fewer pieces to work with would be easier to figure out.
