- The Consew CP146-RL (CP146RL) is a professional-grade portable zig-zag walking foot sewing machine designed for real-world heavy-duty repairs. Built for demanding materials such as marine canvas, sailcloth, vinyl, webbing, upholstery materials, synthetics, and coated/laminated products, it’s a strong portable solution for dockside, onboard, and on-site work where moving the project to a shop machine isn’t practical. Unlike light-duty portable machines, the CP146RL combines a walking foot feed with zig-zag capability to help feed thick layers, seams, and uneven surfaces more consistently—great for reinforcement stitching, corner work, and repairs where straight-stitch portables fall short. It includes a built-in 110VAC motor and deluxe foot control, plus reverse stitching for secure backtacking. Control & Adjustability Stitch width and stitch length are adjustable for precise control across different repair jobs. Manufacturer specs include: max 800 SPM, max stitch length 6mm, and max zig-zag width 5mm. Ideal For Boat & sail repairs, marine canvas work, upholstery shops, awnings, covers, tarps, tents, bags, and other heavy-duty repair applications.
