Desde esta perspectiva, sigue manteniendo su identidad propia de Biblia de estudio.Presentamos ahora la quinta edición en castellano de esta NUEVA BIBLIA DE JERUSALÉN, que ha terminado su revisión en el año 2018, en continuidad con las ediciones anteriores de 1967, 1975, 1998 y 2009. Se ha mantenido la tradicional fidelidad a los textos originales hebreo, arameo y griego, y la transmisión de las introducciones y notas de la versión francesa.Indicamos a continuación las novedades más importantes de esta quinta edición:Se han mantenido los mismos criterios que en las últimas ediciones y los valores fundamentales de sus traducciones de las lenguas originales: unidad interior de los distintos escritos bíblicos de la Antigua y Nueva Alianza, reflejo del ritmo del verso hebreo en la lírica, atención especial a los lugares paralelos, especialmente en los Evangelios Sinópticos.Ha habido una continua revisión literaria de todos los libros del Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento por parte del actual coordinador general Víctor Morla, con acomodación al castellano de los clichés hebreos (algunos incomprensibles en su factura original) y la mejora en la armonización de textos. Siguiendo criterios literarios y siempre tratando de facilitar la lectura del texto bíblico, se ha procedido a pulir el estilo del castellano, un empeño que siempre ha caracterizado a la NUEVA BIBLIA DE JERUSALÉN.Se ha ampliado en un treinta por ciento aproximadamente el número de notas a pie de página, especialmente en los libros proféticos.
