Is this ladder support aliminium? ie; can it be left outside on a ladder without corrosion or rusting? Thank you for your reply.
Answer: It can be left outside but I would expect it to rust over time. -

Do they fit telescopic ladders?
Answer: Not sure but I doubt it since I think telescopic ladders have cylindrical tube legs. The bracket on the safety leg is designed to fit the rectangular shape of classic 3 piece extendable ladders. The bracket can fit various size of rectangular ladder leg but not a round or oval leg. Works very well for standard extendable ladders - been using them all this week. Makes everything a whole lot more stable and stops the ladder twisting and falling sideways. -

Provided the stile dimensions were up to 34mm x 100mm, will this fit a telescopic ladder?

Can they be used on slopes using levelling feet or ladder mats?
Answer: Yes, they can be adjusted to level the ladder on slopes. -

Is this just the two legs, or does the horizontal bar at the base of the ladder come with them?
Answer: No, just the legs. The bar is part of the ladder. I have one like it, but my biggest ladder does not have the bar and is still very stable with these stabilisers. If you read my full review on the product page, it does tell you there that the crossbar is not part of the kit. -

Can these supports be used on a Stepladder?
Answer: No, the ladder supports are not designed for steps. -

Would you suggest these are good for a window cleaner?
Answer: Yes, they are worthwhile for added safety. However, they may be cumbersome for frequent use and may not be suitable for quick movement of the ladder. -
Question:
Could this be used on an uneven surface like a cobbled street?
Answer: Yes, they should be okay on cobbles as they can be moved independently up and down. However, normal safety precautions should still be taken. -
Question:
How stable will this be on grass?
Answer: The stability will be determined by the slope of the grass, the firmness of the soil, and how wet the grass is. The pads are fairly non-slip.
